Why 99% of companies choose TIER 3 data centers

TIER III certification by Uptime Institute ensures true high availability for your systems. Our TIER 3 data center meets all critical requirements: redundant power, cooling, and connectivity in an N+1 configuration, with full support for live maintenance

For special use cases, TTC DC2 offers power configurations that meet TIER IV data center standards (2N+1). For most companies though, the marginal gain in uptime—from 99.982% to 99.995%—doesn’t justify the significantly higher cost.

Behind the numbers: our certified TIER 3 data center

What does TIER III certification mean in practice?

  • Dual 22 kV power feeds from two independent substations
  • 9 diesel generators with auto-start in under 30 seconds
  • 60,000 liters of diesel in on-site storage tanks

Cooling? We run 8+1 fully independent cooling units in an N+1 configuration.

Each power block has its own dedicated UPS and can be serviced without disrupting operations. Non-IT infrastructure is backed by separate UPS systems. And with zero overbooking, your reserved capacity is always fully guaranteed

A certified TIER 3 data center is your competitive edge

Why does certification matter? Client auditors require it. Insurers offer lower rates for certified data center infrastructure. And your compliance team can finally relax. We meet ISO 27001, ISO 20000, PCI DSS, and NSA standards for critical infrastructure.

Cutting corners on a data center will cost you more in a year than you’ll save in a decade. Our PUE of 1.34 means cooling costs up to 40% lower than the market average. And with our transparent pricing, you only pay for what you actually use—no hidden fees.

Why choose a TIER 3 data center from us?

True carrier neutrality

All major fiber providers under one roof means no vendor lock-in risk.

No conflicts of interest

We don’t offer cloud or telco services. We’re not your competitor, we’re your partner.

Up to 70% savings on operating costs

Our scale and efficiency dramatically reduce your costs compared to running your own server room.

Certified TIER III

The highest available certification in the Czech Republic with guaranteed reliability and fully redundant systems and no overbooking.

Driven by responsibility.
Defined by reliability.

TIER 3 data center security at the level of state infrastructure

TIER III certification also includes physical security.
Our facility is protected by 9 independent security layers, from the entrance all the way to the data carrier. This includes CCTV with 90-day recording and biometric access control.

We meet NSA standards for handling classified information at the “Restricted” and “Confidential” levels. That means 24/7 on-site security from a top-tier private agency, ballistic-resistant server room walls, and continuous monitoring.

Everything is located in the most geopolitically stable country in the EU, with no risk of hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods.

We hold the highest certifications in the industry

NIS2

Cybersecurity Act (NIS2). Defines requirements for managing cyber risks, incident response, and maintaining operational continuity across critical systems.

PCI DSS

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. Requires strict controls to protect sensitive cardholder data and ensure its secure processing.

DORA

Digital Operational Resilience Act. Establishes requirements for ICT risk management, operational resilience, and maintaining services during disruptions.

ISO 27001:2022

Information Security Management System (ISMS). It guarantees that we have implemented strict control mechanisms to protect data, manage cyber risks, and ensure business continuity in the event of threats.

Shaping the data center industry in Central Europe since 2001

When we got started back in 2001, TIER certifications didn’t even exist. But from day one, we built with high availability in mind. Our TIER III certification, awarded in 2015, simply confirmed that we’d been doing it right all along.

Today, 60% of Czech internet traffic flows through our facilities. We’re trusted by global corporations and government institutions alike. After 24 years, we know a TIER 3 data center isn’t just about infrastructure. It’s about partnerships built on trust and transparency

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

No. TTC TELEPORT purchases unregulated electricity based on SPOT market prices. As a result, the price of electricity can change every 15 minutes.

For a simple connection (e.g. a two-fiber cable), we can deliver a cross-connect by the next business day. More complex connections (e.g. 24 fibers) are typically completed within 5 business days.

This depends heavily on the customer’s technology. However, we have experience cooling cabinets with power densities of up to 55 kW.

Your infrastructure will continue running. We operate two independent power feeds (2× 10 MW) and backup systems in an N+1 configuration. In the event of an outage, UPS systems take over immediately, followed by diesel generators with sufficient fuel for long-term operation.

We hold the highest certifications in the industry, including ISO 27001 (information security), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 20000 (IT service management), and ISO 14001 (environmental management). Our infrastructure meets TIER III standards, with power configurations aligned with TIER IV requirements. We also support PCI-DSS, NIS2, and DORA compliance.

We use a controlled cooling system with hot and cold aisle containment. The environment is monitored by more than 7,000 temperature and humidity sensors. The system is fully redundant (N+1), ensuring stable conditions even in case of a failure.

The entire site is secured and monitored 24/7. Access is controlled via reception and security turnstiles. Facilities are covered by CCTV with up to 90 days of recording, supported by biometric readers and electronic access systems.
